I love the pattern, and it is easy to follow.
Hello. I noticed in the directions you said to use 8 ply cotton yarn. Was that a misprint?
Hello!
Thank you for your review.
It's not a misprint. DK weight would be ideal for this project: DK or double knitting (UK) is the same thickness as 8ply (AU/NZ). I know, yarn weights can be so confusing sometimes! If you need help picking the right yarn for this skirt or any other pattern, feel free to message me directly. I usually look at the amount of yarn (meters or yards) in one skein/ball, when trying to find a suitable yarn type. So for example, for Wild Thing skirt, I've used cotton yarn that has 100 meters in a 50 g ball of yarn. So any other yarn that has approximately the same amount of yarn in one ball, would probably be a suitable alternative.
