FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Are you selling the Wild Thing skirt for only 7.90€?
The product you refer to is a digital crochet guide. It is not a physical product, but a written PDF tutorial on how to craft the garment yourself. You will receive the download link right after checkout.
Am I allowed to sell items made from your patterns?
You are allowed to sell work made from my patterns on a small scale. They are your handcrafts after all. I only ask to mention that the item is a "Maana Crafts design", with a link to my website or social media channel. Please do not copy, edit, reproduce, or sell the pattern or parts of it. Thank you for respecting my work.
I am just starting my crochet journey. Would I be able to follow your tutorials?
Welcome to the crochet community, you’ll love it here. :) Some fellow crocheters have told me that they learned to crochet using my patterns. However, to read the patterns, you would have to know some basic crochet stitches, such as starting knot, chain stitch, slip stitch, single crochet, and double crochet stitch. There are countless great YouTube tutorials on how to do the stitches. Try searching “basic crochet stitches” or “beginner crochet”, for example.
What materials do you use?
I use natural fibers, such as wool, linen, cotton, and bamboo, in my crochet pieces. Sometimes I prefer to use wool yarn that has a bit of polyamide to add durability to the item. I choose recycled whenever possible, and I ensure all the wool I use is mulesing-free.
Do you sell hand-dyed yarn?
Unfortunately, I do not sell yarn supplies. Though I would love to delve more deeply into the world of natural dyes someday.
Do you collaborate with influencers?
Sometimes, yes! If you think we would be a match, feel free to reach out to me. I would be happy to hear any collaboration ideas.
Do you collaborate with yarn brands?
I would love to! If you think our brands would be a good pair, please reach out to me.
How can I be a tester for your crochet patterns?
I am glad to hear you are interested in testing my patterns! You can find the pattern tester application here. I prefer testers who are active on social media, especially on Instagram, where I will create a tester group chat to help communicate with everyone during the testing process.
